Make Courtier Membership easier!
Most people opt to pay at least one monthly or annual bill by standing order. Electricity, Gas, Sutton Water and, yes, council tax bills are often paid in that way. So why not pay your annual Ewell Court Residents’ Association membership fee that way too?
OK so it is currently ‘only’ £3, but that is three pounds you need to have conveniently available when your Road Rep calls. And it would mean that your magazines reach you much sooner as your Rep does not have call asking for the subs first, but can quickly deliver your copy and move on to the next house.
Of course, for Ewell Court Residents’ Association it also means a great deal of time saved by our volunteer Road Reps. They will make many fewer calls (and return visits to empty houses) to collect money. They will have less cash to collect, to count and to hold on to.
Paying by Standing Order is very simple to arrange and means that the ECRA Road Reps can deliver the magazines without having to ring the doorbell (sometimes on several occasions) to collect the membership. Here are the details:

It is vital that when your bank makes payment to our account at Santander your payment is accompanied by YOUR ADDRESS as the reference.
As an incentive to encourage residents to pay by Standing order, we pick names at random each year to win a cash prize. Next year we will offer two prizes: £15 and £5.
We suggest that you take this Courtier article with you when you visit your bank to set up your Standing Order to avoid any slip ups. If you wish, you can speak to our Area Rep, James Walker, on 0208 393 2645 before you set up the Standing Order.
